In a ghastly mishap, a huge crane was crashed during the shoot of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 last night. 3 workers died on the spot and 10 more workers were severely injured.
Kamal Haasan fell into a state of deep shocker with the tragedy. He pledged Rs.1 crore compensation each to the kin of the deceased.
"Yesterday's accident was unfortunate and we lost our 3 friends. I will give financial assistance of Rs 1 crore each to kin of those who lost their lives as they belong to poor families. We must take preventive steps to avoid such accidents in future," Kamal Haasan said.
Meanwhile, director Shankar was also sustained with injuries and is being treated at the moment.
