Vijay Deverakonda who attained immense stardom in short span is making his Bollywood debut with a Pan India film tentatively titled Liger under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. Before that, Vijay is all set to entertain with his ‘last love story’ World Famous Lover gracing the theaters on 14th of this month as Valentine’s Day special.
Many actors who reached many heights in Telugu failed to make his mark in other languages. Nonetheless, Vijay doesn’t care what others feel. “I’m very over-confident since childhood? I question myself why I shouldn’t do multi-lingual films? If possible, I want to rule India. I always want to achieve big goals in life. I’ll be going to new phase in career with my film with Puri,” said he.
In fact, this attitude of Vijay Deverakonda brought him numerous fans, especially in youth. When puzzled, whether it was a publicity stunt or he won’t be doing love stories, he shots back saying, “For now, I want to take some break from love stories. In future as well, I will give nod, only if an exciting script comes my way.”
Vijay avows that, World Famous Lover belongs to only one person that is the film’s writer and director Kranthi Madhav. “Writing is Kranthi’s biggest strength. I personally loved playing the role of Seenayya. I kind of took some stuff from my dad like wearing the lungi etc.”
He also made it clear that he couldn’t promote the film aggressively like earlier because he was in Mumbai working for Puri’s film all these days.
