Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest for pre-release function of superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru. Like the function, the film is also turning out to be a massive hit, but not in the range of makers prediction.
The enormous hype, Mahesh Babu Factor, the success form of Anil Ravipudi and intriguing promotional content helped the film getting record openings. But, due to competition, and also because of routine content, Sarileru Neekevvaru witnessed drops in collections after the Sankranthi holidays.
Now, the film’s business is coming to end. Fortunately, it has recovered full investment and producers, buyers are enjoying profits. Still, even hard core fans of Mahesh Babu fans felt routineness in screenplay.
Before the release of the film, when Anil Ravipudi went to invite Chiranjeevi for the pre-release function, the director requested him to watch the film and also told him to narrate a story.
Chiranjeevi accepted, but due to his other commitments, he couldn’t watch the film. Now, after receiving negative feedback, Anil Ravipudi is in embarrassing situation to meet Chiru. He has decided to prove his mettle with F2 sequel F3 with the same cast of Venkatesh and Varun Tej.
Anil Ravipudi has got enough time because Venky and Varun are busy with their respective commitments. So, the young director is making few changes to the script and is making sure there won’t be tedium in narration.
Apparently, Anil Ravipudi will meet Chiranjeevi after delivering hit with his next. It is also learnt that, Mahesh Babu is willing to work with the director again!
