He is highly misunderstood personality. Some detractors blame him crooked. Had he really been crooked, he couldn't have survived in the film industry for 45 years. He is the number one producer of South India. My grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah garu received Padma Sri award. And my father also deserves the same award. I appeal the governments of Telugu states to ensure my father is honoured with Padma Sri award."
