The AP government is simply unstoppable with its stand on declaring three capitals to AP state. GN Rao's committee and Boston Committee have recently submitted their reports on capital issues and recommended the government to decentralize the administration ensuring the establishment of three capitals such as Vizag, Amaravati and Kurnool.
And the government has decided to hold an emergency cabinet meet on January 8 to take a crucial decision. It's learnt that the government will resolve on the shifting of secretariat to Millennium Towers in Vizag and will announce the same after the cabinet meet.
Also, the government has determined to celebrate republic day at secretariat in Vizag on January 26. It's speculated that secretariat employees will be allocated sites of area around 200 square yards per an individual in the city of Vizag. Around 36 wings of various departments would be shifted to Vizag secretariat in the first phase. More details are awaited.
