Vidya Balan though hails from South, became a top star in Bollywood. This year she made her entry into Tollywood with Balakrishna's prestigious biopic NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. Though the film bombed at the box office, Vidya Balan cast a magic spell with her performance as NTR's wife Basavatarakam.
Shraddha Kapoor made her south entry in style romancing Young Rebel Star Prabhas in Saaho. She hogged the media limelight as Saaho happened to be Prabhas' first after the Baahubali sensation. Though the film didn’t do well in Tollywood, her stunts and action scenes endeared herself to all in Bollywood.
Zarine Khan unlike Shraddha and Vidya, sizzled as the second lead in Macho Star Gopichand's spy thriller Chanakya. She oozed with glamour in the film. Despite all these beauties getting important roles in Tollywood,they failed to get a grand reception as the films bombed at the box office.
