Slender Beauty Lavanya Tripathi who recently impressed with her lovely looks and performance as a journalist in Nikhil's crime thriller Arjun Suravaram, got a huge shock when GST officials conducted raids.
Much to her shock, GST officials found that Lavanya Tripathi evaded more than Rs 20 lakh GST tax. GST officials revealed that simultaneous searches were conducted at more than 23 locations for the third consecutive day.
GST officials kept media houses, financial services, infra companies, fitness centers and entertainment houses under their radar.
Lavanya shot to fame with her performance and looks in her debut film Andala Rakshasi and scored hits like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and Srirastu Subhamastu to name a few.
GST officials speaking to scribes said, “The evasion is about both service tax and GST regime. Other companies and individuals can come forward to disclose voluntarily under Sabka Viswas Voluntary disclosure scheme. Once the search is conducted, they can’t use the scheme.”
