Pawan's Wise Question to Jagan on Taxes in Temples

Pawan's Thought Provoking Question on Taxes in Temples

One of the biggest blunders being committed by YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh is that the party is alleged to have been supporting one particular religion. Besides, the party is also facing allegations that it wantedly demeaning another particular religion.

Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan has relentlessly been questioning the CM on the latter's religious bias.

Pawan Kalyan's latest tweet is about the views expressed by Chilukuri Balaji temple's head priest Rangarajan on taxation in Hindu temples. "We don't have apprehensions for offering subsidies to Jerusalem and Haj pilgrims. But then, why the government are levying 23.5% taxes from only temples and why not single paisa is levied from mosques and churches? According to 26th act of constitution, no taxes should be levied from religious institutions. On the contrary, the governments are levying taxes from temples," said Rangarajan.
