Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the biggest risk taken by Mega Star Chiranjeevi and his son Mega Power Star Ram Charan. As declared by Charan, the film was made on a massive budget of Rs 250 Crores. Besides spending such lavish budget, Charan also looked after production activities. He was with his dad most of the time and even delayed his films shoots.
Thankfully, Sye Raa is ending as a profit maker in Telugu states, though the performance in other states was a big shocker. It is heard that, Chiranjeevi whose fans wish to see him in mass and commercial entertainers has decided not to take another risk at least for some time.
Although Chiru is making sure his films will have a social message or a unique plot, he is asking his directors to add adequate commercial ingredients. He is also not keen to do high budget entertainers when there’s risk for his producers, whether it is his son’s or other’s production. Chiru will take up high budget films, only if he feels they can recover for the full investment from theaters and through other sources.
Chiru’s next film under the direction of Koratala Siva will also be made on moderate budget. The mega star of Tollywood is also lining up few interesting projects details of which will be unveiled early in 2020.
