Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Mega Star Chiranjeevi must be complimented for making a film on the unsung and unforgotten freedom fighter on silver screen on a grand scale in a never seen before manner.

But much to the shock of all, there was no mention of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy either in the national books or in the state books. This makes people wonder who suppressed the valor and supreme sacrifice of Narasimha Reddy and ensured he fade into the oblivion despite the fact that the British hung his head for 30 years on the fort to create fear among the people

Some say the British were so scared that they suppressed Narasimha Reddy's rebellion and freedom struggle and even Razakars ensured. After India gained independence, left-leaning historians and Congress ensured that history gets distorted so that only a few be promoted as freedom fighters while others got branded as bandits, dacoits, and terrorists.

It is a shame on the people of two Telugu states for forgetting the supreme sacrifice of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Now that Chiranjeevi showed the power of Narasimha Reddy in the right earnest, the Telangana government led by KCR who takes pride in preserving the history , culture and traditions of the state should ensure that Narasimha Reddy gets due recognition among the people for the state.
