Right away after assuming power, AP CM and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced innumerable welfare programmes for the needy. His administration appeared to be outstanding for the first 30 days.
However, YSRCP government appeared to have lost its charm with some alleged blunders such as village volunteer system, Amma Vodi scheme's implementation to private institutions apart from government schools and rowdyism.
However, YSRCP seems to have bounced back with the following decisions and effective implementation of some of the administrative policies.
* There might have been a scam involved at APPSC. Yet, recruiting 1.25 lakh youth for Grama Sachivalayam posts is definitely a great decision of the government.
* Arogya Sri scheme was strengthened and more number of diseases have been added under this scheme.
* Initially, Polavaram's re-tendering decision received brickbats from critics. Finally, the government saved Rs.782 crores with its decision.
* Ignoring useless development of Amaravati is the best sensible decision. Perhaps, the government is implementing many schemes effectively diverting the funds allocated for Amaravati construction.
* Unlike TDP, YSRCP is not wasting thousands of crores for the party's publicity like Kirshna and Godavari pushkaralu fund allocation, unnecessary hoardings and flexes of the party in every station, unnecessary newspaper ads etc.
* And then, it's a revolutionary change in education system. English medium schools are introduced parallel in all schools. Thousands of schools will be upgraded to Intermediate level from next academic year. PGT and principal posts are likely to be generated with this decision. On the other hand, in-service promotions are being given in education department on a rapid pace.
* According to inside sources,a better PRC report was prepared by the PRC committee for employees. It must be remembered that Telangana government was an utter failure in raising employees salaries. There is no IR and no PRC for TS employees. Currently they are cursing TRS party.
