As we reported earlier, Megastar Chiranjeevi's historical magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimhareddy's USA theatrical rights were acquired by Phars Films for Rs.18 crores. This is said to be a reasonable deal.
Sye Raa's break even target has now been set as $3.3M in the USA. On the other hand, the buyers are planning to release the film in 500+ screens across USA. This is said to humongous.
Also, distributors are expecting $2M collections through premieres. If not, the film might collect $1.5M in the least case. In such scenario, half of the break even target can be reached through the premises of the film.
Sye Raa was directed by Surender Reddy on Konidela Production Company owned by Mega Power Star Ram Charan. October 2 is the scheduled date of release.
