Movie lovers especially Mega fans are furious with the jury committee which announced the 66th National Awards. They expected best actor award for Mega Power Star Ram Charan for his captivating and riveting performance as a hearing impaired person Chitti Babu in Rangasthalm.
Mega fans are of the opinion that compared to Ram Charan's performance as a hearing impaired person and his dialogues in Godavari slang, none of the Bollywood stars who won the award came near to him.
Rumors are spreading that due to Bollywood lobbying, he was deprived of getting the top honor. Now many are wondering who has the need to lobby against Rangasthalam. Sources say Lingam Mava, Paresh Raval who rejected Mega Star Chiranjeevi's match in Shankar Dada MBBS turned Shikandhi for Ram Charan.
Paresh Rawal did so as he played an important role in Vicky Kaushal's Uri for which he won the best actor award. Paresh Rawal played the command operation officer in the film and due to his association with Vicky he lobbied with the award committee.
Mega fans say since Paresh Rawal is close to PM Modi, he lobbied to get award for Vicky Kaushal. It is not clear how much truth is there in this rumor but none can question the competence of the jury. Only media can prove whether Paresh Rawal influenced the award committee in any manner.
