Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Janasena, who is currently busy strengthening his party by mingling with the people from all sections across the state of Andhra Pradesh, surprised all by remembering his disaster.
It is known that Pawan Kalyan's debut film as a director, Johnny turned out to be a disaster. Pawan directed Johnny in 2003 and he later avoided talking about the disaster result. He finally spoke about it, when he attended the launch of a book 'Mana Cinemalu' penned by Telakapalli Ravi.
Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan said he knew that his film Johnny would be a failure before its release. He said he messed it up completely by trying to commercialize his thoughts and added only Paruchuri Brothers are adept at doing so.
While Pawan did not talk about his return to Tollywood, noted writer Parachuri Gopala Krishna asked him to reconsider his decision and draw inspiration from former TN CM MGR who continued acting in films despite being the CM.
Pawan then surprised all saying he drew more happiness reading the novel of Bandhopadhyaya's Vanavasi than his film Gabbar Singh turn into a blockbuster.
