Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the second term is becoming even more powerful and opposition leaders are at their wit's end as to how to take him on after the BJP government passed crucial laws like Triple Talaq and bifurcated Jammu & Kashmir abrogating contentious Article 370.
When even opposition leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Bannerjee and Aravind Kerjriwal are running for cover, Angry Star Rajasekhar shocked all by taking on Modi. Rajasekhar who is a qualified doctor by profession expressed his views against the proposed National Medical Commission Bill.
Airing his views strongly he posted, "This #NMCBill is nonsense! I stand by all the doctors protesting this. We cannot let this pass, this is a matter of people's lives being in incapable hands. You cannot practice medicine in 6 months. All limitations will be crossed, we will end up not knowing who is a certified MBBS Doctor and who isn't. Start speaking about this! This should be trending now, this is our fight. It is literally a matter of life and death. Ultimately, the poor and the uneducated are the ones who will suffer. You cannot "crash course" and be a DOCTOR."
He added, "Medicine is not a profession where you can do a "bridge course for 6 months" and become a doctor. As a trained MBBS doctor, I am completely against this. It is definitely not the way to increase doctors in our country."
Not only Rajasekhar many other professionals and medical fraternity expressed their strong opposition against the bill.
