Young hero Bellamkonda Srinivas's psychological thriller Rakshasudu has concluded the first weekend with a good collection at the box office. The film directed by Ramesh Varma has recovered 50 percent of its distributors' investment in three days.
The pre-release hype surrounding it helped the movie receive good advance booking for its opening day. Having started on a good note, the film collected Rs 6.65 crore share at the worldwide box office for three days.
Although the film is doing good business in domestic markets, it is underperforming in USA. Rakshasudu grossed $31,200 on Friday including premieres, it minted $35,200 and $17,800 on Saturday and Sunday respectively, taking three days total to $84,200.
Trade analysts predict, Rakshasudu is going to be a flop maker for overseas distributor.
