Message oriented films in the olden days are hailed by one and all. Messages and social responsibility in the current films have been boasted by the stars and the makers as memorable ones, but right thinking people are remarking 'What's the use of soulless messages'.
If one decides to give messages, then one should go to the root cause. Those who watch the film should get a feeling that the makers are giving tangible solution to the burning social problem.
The recent entertainers like Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150, Tagore, Mahesh Babu's Maharshi, Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu are just commercial entertainers which raised emotions in some scenes and then came with cosmetic solutions.
That was the reason why initial euphoria from people over anti corruption, farmers issues, weekend farming and village adoptions fizzled out completely.
