Slender beauty Pooja Hegde is one of the most in-demand heroines in Tollywood. The actress who is riding high with the success of Maharshi is currently part of some high-status films like stylish star Allu Arjun’s untitled film in Trivikram Srinivas’s direction. Pooja Hegde is now finalized for mega prince Varun Tej’s ongoing film Valmiki being helmed by Harish Shankar.
This news has been confirmed officially by Harish Shankar who also promised another surprise in form of Valmiki pre-teaser. “Love to announce on this auspicious day from the team of Valmiki... that Very soon we gonna Surprise you guys with a pre -teaser. #PreTeaserValmiki..... @DoP_Bose @IAmVarunTej @Atharvaamurali @hegdepooja.”
In fact, Pooja Hegde was the original choice for the film. However, there were reports that, the hottie has walked out of the project as she was upset with rumors of hiking pay for the film. Aparently, Harish Shankar convinced her to be part of the film that also stars Tamil actor Atharva Murali playing other protagonist.
Varun Tej, as we all know, is playing a role with negative shades in the film. However, it is a villain centric film which has less scope for protagonist. Interestingly, Pooja Hegde will romance Atharvaa, but not Varun.
