Many Tollywood stars and filmmakers after watching final output and rushes of their films often go for reshoot of some of their scenes feeling that such reshoots changing the plot a little bit would change the film result.
But the question is whether reshoots change the results of the film. Analysts who have gone through the films that released after reshoots feel this progress did not change fate of films.
Right from the olden days to the current generation, nowhere in history, films which had reshoots tasted success. Sobhan Babu's Agni Nakshatram, Chiranjeevi's Dhairyavantudu, Suman, Mammootty's Suryaputrulu, Mohan Babu's Nampalli Nagu, NTR's Evaru Devudu, Harnath, Krishna, Padmanabham, Ramakrishna's Maa Inti Devata, Vijayalalitha's Adadani Saval, Rajasekhar's Vetagaru, Chiranjeevi's Anji fall under this category.
Even films like Deviputrudu, Vijayashanti, Satyabhama, Mrugaraju, Ram's Shivam, Nitin's Courier Boy Kalyan, Raviteja's Nippu, Pawan Kalyan's Johnny, Posani's Sravana Masam, Sudheer Babu's Mosagallaku Mosagadu, Ram Charan's Orange, Manchu Manoj's Okkadu Migiladu left producers in losses with the reshoots.
