Apparently, universal hero Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Indian 2 (Bharateeyudu 2 in Telugu) is not shelved. As per fresh reports, the issues between Shankar and producers of Lyca Productions have been sorted out. The film’s shoot will resume from June end.
But, shoot will progress at slow pace as Kamal Haasan will host the TV reality show Bigg Boss Tamil season 3. It is learnt that, Kamal will allot just two to three days a week, until Bigg Boss 3 completes.
It is also learnt that, the makers are planning to release Indian 2 for Pongal. However, the twist is they releasing the film not in 2020, but for the festival in 2021. So, the producers are giving nearly one and half year time for Shankar to wrap up the shoot and post-production works.
Meanwhile, they will finalize other cast and crew, including antagonist of the film. It is known that, Lyca Productions other production venture Darbar in the combination of Rajinikanth and AR Murugadoss will hit the screens for the Pongal in 2020.
