Actor-turned-director Rahul Ravindran wanted to direct Naga Chaitanya in his directorial debut film. But, he was asked to direct Sushanth who was going through lean phase then. The film Chi La Sow turned out to be a decent hit and Rahul got the opportunity to direct King Nagarjuna.
The film Manmadhudu 2, a sequel to Nagarjuna’s super hit Manmadhudu, is in its initial stages of production. Nagarjuna is said to be super confident over the project as the script is full of entertainment. Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady, wherein Samantha and Keerthy Suresh will be seen in brief roles.
It is now learnt that, Nagarjuna asked Rahul Ravindran to prepare a entertaining script for his younger son Akkineni Akhil, before wrapping up Manmadhudu 2. Rahul who already readied few line stories asked some time to work on full script. If things go well, this film will go on floors some time next year. What’s more, Nag is keen to produce the film as well.
On the flip side, Akhil who is yet to score his first hit wil next be teaming up with Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film will be bankrolled by Geetha Arts Banner.
