Summer’s biggest attraction Maharshi starring super star Mahesh Babu will be hitting the screens on 9th of this month worldwide with premiere shows in few centers on 8th. The film has already completed censor formalities and promotional activities are going in full swing. Buzz is extremely positive, but one factor is worrying producers of the film.
Maharshi budget is exceeded by 20 to 30 crores to estimated budget, owing to various reasons. The film which is the highest budgeted film in Mahesh Babu’s career needs to do over 100 cr business in theaters to recover its investment. Even though producers are happy with the outcome and response from censor officials, they are worried whether the film will have long run to recover the budget.
Maharshi makers are trying for permission from Andhra Pradesh government over hike in ticket prices and also for an additional show in all the theaters for at least a week days. In fact, these are the only options left for them to get record openings and get back their expenses.
Besides Mahesh Babu’s charisma, Vamsi Paidipally’s writing and taking, Pooja Hegde, Sonal Chauhan’s glamor are said to be other big advantages of the film which will have good dose of amusement and emotions.
