The next big attraction of Maharshi portrays the journey of Rishi played by Mahesh Babu from his college days to a successful businessman to a farmer. Initially, he is an arrogant who doesn’t care anything in the quest of chasing success. Visuals in the trailer show he even disrespects his father played by Prakash Raj when he lectures about life and real success.
However, this same person fights for the rights of farmers after a shocking incident to his close friend Allari Naresh. In fact, Naresh’s is one of the key roles in the film which is the reason why he accepted to do Maharshi.
However, now, it is learnt that, few scenes of Naresh have been chopped off. In fact, it is a common scenario that side artists do not get much importance in a star hero film. But, the main reason for deleting Naresh’s scenes is its lengthy runtime.
They with many efforts could bring down final runtime to nearly 3 hours. Producer Dil Raju after watching the final version suggested to delete few more scenes as it is a tough task to engage audience for such lengthy time.
Since the film is journey of Rishi, they can’t remove scenes of Mahesh Babu. So, they with no option deleted few scenes of Allari Naresh. Though Naresh is not directly expressing his disappointment, he is said to be not happy with the makes decision.
Pooje Hegde is the leading lady and Sonal Chauhan will be seen as second fiddle. Maharshi is all set for grand release worldwide on May 9th.
