There’s no denial that, Sandalwood beauty Shraddha Srinath is winning accolades for her mature performance as Nani’s wife in Jersey. But, many feel, she risked her career in Tollywood to play the role of Sarah, an ever-supporting wife and not the one who will withstand all the troubles caused by her husband.
Actually, Shraddha Srinath is not the original choice for the film. Director Gowtham Tinnanuri approached few other heroines. Although they are happy to romance Nani, they refused once they listened to the story. Once an actress plays a married lady, they will be acknowledged as non-glamorous heroine and no star hero will show interest to work with them, which is the reason why all of them refused to star in Jersey.
However, Shradha took a bold decision by accepting to play a married lady in Jersey. Many stars and directors praised Shraddha for her stunning show. But, she is yet to sign her next Telugu film. Above all, many feel that, Shraddha will not suit for glamorous roles, as she doesn’t look striking like many stunning divas in the industry.
