Power Star Pawan Kalyan and ace comedian Ali were thickest friends when the former was doing films. But, differences cropped up between them after both entered politics. While Pawan Kalyan floated Janasena Party, Ali after meeting all the party leaders in the state joined YSRCP. But, Ali didn’t get ticket to contest in the elections.
Apparently, Pawan Kalyan didn’t invite Ali to join his Janasena which is the reason why he met leaders of other big parties in the state. As part of poll campaigning, Pawan Kalyan made severe comments on his friends Ali in Rajahmundry.
Pawan Kalyan said he has trusted Ali as a friend but he has cheated him and went away. The Janasena has given Narasaraopet MP ticket to Ali’s close relative, but in spite of Janasena, he has joined YSR Congress party.
Meanwhile, to counter Pawan Kalyan, Ali came up with a video statement. In his statement he said, “I never spoke negatively about Pawan Kalyan or Janasena till date. I always have great respect for him. I reached this stage without anybody’s assistance, but Pawan Kalyan was backed by his brother megastar Chiranjeevi. I neither took any financial support nor did I beg for roles. He must tell me what kind of support he gave to me. I didn’t ask him to give ticket to my relative. Is it a wrong thing to join other party? Is it against the constitution? Did he ever invite me to join his party?”
Observers feel that, Ali is disheartened for Pawan Kalyan not inviting him to join JSP. More importantly, Ali predicted JSP will not win the elections due to tough competition from TDP and YSRCP. “If Ali really feels Pawan Kalyan as his close friend, he should have approached him and join the party. Egos sopped him to approach Pawan Kalyan and beg for ticket. And, Ali had no faith in JSP winning majority of seats owing to lack of funds. He made these remarks out of frustration,” they opine.
