Having received a complaint from TDP's leaders, the censor board has directed the makers of Lakshmi's NTR to release the film only after the general polls, which are scheduled on April 11.
Irked by censor board's unilateral stand on the film's release, RGV decided to proceed legally against censor board. He also, initiated a tweet war on censor board as well.
Finally, things appeared to have been solved between censor board and RGV and decks maybe cleared for Lakshmi's NTR release.
"There has been an unfortunate misunderstanding between our office and the CBFC which has now been cleared ..The CBFC is now doing the necessary action as per the laid down procedure ..Hence our press meet against the CBFC is cancelled ..Jai NTR, #LakshmiNTR," RGV tweeted on Sunday night.
