Marevirck director Ram Gopal Varma captured the imagination of all with his controversial film Lakshmi's NTR. Till recently RGV increased craze for Lakshmi's NTR with never seen before promotions possible only for him.
He is now trying to get good pre release business for the film. Trade analysts are of the opinion that following the craze, the film may get good openings at the box office. However inside talk is RGV is scaring buyers with his demands showing stars to them.
Of late RGV's films are finding it difficult to do even Rs 5crs business but he is demanding a whopping Rs 20crs. Buzz is RGV who had meeting with buyers made it clear that he will not reduce anything less than Rs 20crs. But buyers are scared to acquire the rights at such a high right after the shocks they experienced with Balakrishna's NTR biopic two parts Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu.
So RGV changed tune and is nor discussing on commission basis. Though RGV has not taken any decision and made clear about the same, he should do something, if Lakshmi's NTR has to release on March 22nd. RGV is keen to make as much profit as possible before the film release, but if the first day talk goes wrong, then distributors will get a shock.
