Natural Star Nani sprang a surprise by allowing his filmmakers to name his film as Gang Leader, after Mega Star Chiranjeevi's iconic hit Gang Leader. Nani is teaming up with RX 100 hero Karthikeya in the direction of Vikram Kumar.
Going by the film’s teaser, Nani will be seen as a Gang Leader of five stunning beauties of different age groups right from 8 years old girl to 80 year old granny and this is generating tremendous interest among movie lovers. However mega fans are furious with Nani using Mega star Chiranjeevi's blockbuster title.
For quite some time they are of opinion that except for Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan, no one, not even from mega family should use the title. The opposition they showed to Sai Dharam Tej when he planned to name his film after Gang Leader cannot be forgotten that easily.
Inside talk is Vikram Kumar readied story for stylish Star Allu Arjun who suggested the title Gang Leader. Many felt that had Allu Arjun been part of Vikram Kumar's project, the title would have been apt. Since Allu Arjun did not show interest for some reason, he went to Nani who readily agreed.
Buzz is though the story was meant for Stylish Star, Vikram Kumar did not make any changes even after Natural Star entered the project.
