Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao were two mentors for Mohan Babu. Besides acting alongside NTR, Mohan Babu also produced a super hit film Major Chandrakanth with the legendary actor. Mohan Babu also shares good rapport with Balakrishna and other family members of NTR.
Many expected Mohan Babu will be given the role of SV Ranga Rao in NTR Biopic. But, Mohan Babu wasn’t even approached for that or any other role in the film. Earlier, he played SV Ranga Rao in Savitri’s biopic Mahanati.
Nonetheless, Mohan Babu was invited for NTR Kathanayakudu audio release event, where he made some stunning remarks. “Will director Krish expose certain evil forces in the movie? Will he paint them as good people? I can't share the details on the dais but I had some interesting conversations with NTR when he was alive," he said. Social media was abuzz with speculations about who the so called bad people Mohan Babu was referring to could be.
Interestingly, Mohan Babu was given good importance in Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi’s NTR. In the film’s trailer, Mohan Babu was shown as loyal to NTR, even after the latter’s second marriage with Lakshmi Parvathy.
While NTR Biopic second part Mahanayakudu will hit the screens on 22nd of this month, Lakshmi’s NTR is also likely to release in summer.
