Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth made his political entry's announcement on 31 December, 2017 amid huge response from his fans. In spite of announcing his new political party Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM), he has never let his party gets strengthened.
Instead, Rajini kept himself busy working for the films such as 2.0, Peta etc.
Finally, Rajinikanth has come up with a clarity on Lok Sabha. He said he would not be contesting in Lok Sabha elections but will be contesting in assembly polls scheduled in 2021.
"I won't be contesting the Lok Sabha polls this year and no party will have my support. So, no one should make to use my pictures or RMM flags for their campaigning," Rajini said. Obviously, the heads of all the existing political parties in Tamil Nadu may heave a sigh of relief with Rajini's statement.
