Malayalam super star Mammootty is making his comeback to Telugu cinema after ages with Yatra where he played the role of the late chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekar Reddy. Before release of this film, Mammootty’s Tamil film Peranbu released today to extreme positive response from critics.

Peranbu is about a father who tries to understand the struggles of his disabled daughter Paapa. The plot highlights the journey of how he becomes a better man while he comes to terms with his child and her special needs. Mammootty is winning accolades for his exceptional performance as father of a disabled daughter.

The response for Peranbu will certainly have positive impact on Yatra releasing on 7th of this month. Although the film will not have simultaneous release in Malayalam, the dubbed version will see theaters soon. Given that, Mammootty is a super star of Malayalam cinema, Yatra will do well in Kerala as well.
