Akkineni Akhil’s romantic entertainer Mr Majnu directed by Venky Atluri started on a decent note in Karnataka and overseas. The film has done Rs 22.05 Cr pre release theatrical business and it recovered Rs 4.37 Cr on day one worldwide. As per trade reports, Mr Majnu bookings are good for today in all the areas as it is public holiday (Republic Day) today.
The film would rake good numbers tomorrow itself (Sunday). Mr Majnu will not have any big competition at box office except for Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s F2 Fun & Frustration. Here is Mr Majnu area wise break up of shares:
