Renowned comedy artist of Tollywood Brahmanandam underwent heart bypass surgery at Asian Heart Surgery (AHI) in Mumbai. Brahmanandam was rushed to Mumbai on Sunday after the actor's condition turned critical.
After performing several tests, Dr Ramakanth Panda operated Brahmanandam on Monday. The 82-year-old Brahmandam's condition has been safe post the surgery. Brahmanandam was accompanied by his sons Raja Gautham and Siddharth.
Brahmanandam acted around 1000 films and had been placed in Guinness Book of World Records. He was the recipient of Padma Sri award. Brahmanandam made his film debut with Aha Naa Pellanta. However, Pasivadi Pranam became the first film which hit screens then.
Brahmanandam's fans have gone panic hearing his heart surgery. However, as and when they got to know the actor was safe, they heaved a sigh of relief. All the movie lovers are wishing him to get well soon.
