Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's NTR Kathanayakudu is now heading for all time disaster of Tollywood with an approximate estimation of Rs.50 crores loss. As we know, the film's theatricals were sold out to Rs.72 crores. In return, the film recovered Rs.15 crores share.
Meanwhile, speculations were rife on Sunday that the makers were mulling over giving theatrical rights of NTR Mahanayakudu to NTR Kathanayakudu buyers for free of cost as a compensation for NTR Kathanayakudu's losses.
When such proposal of compensation was reportedly brought to East Godavari distributor, he straight away turned down the offer and sought the compensation only in the form of money.
NTR Mahanayakudu was shown no interest by the buyers even before release of Kathanayakudu. As a result, though Kathanayakudu's rights were sold out to fancy prices, while NTR Mahanayakudu's business was remain kept opened.
On the other hand, team NTR Mahanayakudu is busy shooting balance part of the film's shoot at the moment. If the ongoing reports are anything to go by, film's team is planning to get the film postponed after general elections which are scheduled in the month of April/May. Earlier, the film's release was planned on February 7. Whatsoever, we need to await official reports about film's business and its release date.
