Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta is carrying good buzz across Tamil Nadu. Since the film has been made as a complete mass entertainer and it was said to be a tailor made role for Rajini, fans and movie lovers pinned hopes on the movie's success. It's learnt that the Tamil version got its censor formalities today and received U/A certificate from board's officials.
On the contrary, Petta's Telugu version 'Peta' is carrying poor buzz among movie buffs in Telugu states. Some days ago, C Kalyan was heard to have acquired Telugu version's rights. But then, he, himself, condemned the gossips. The film is likely to be sold out for a below par price.
Peta/Petta is readying for release on January 11 as a Sankranthi gift for the audience. Petta was directed by Karthik Subbaraj under Sun Pictures. Simran and Trisha essayed lady leads. Anirudh Ravichandar is the music composer.
