She is starring in Dear Comrade and couple of films in other languages. Now a snap of Rashmika in a lake is going viral and sources say Rashmika is fighting to save the popular Bellandur Lake in Bengaluru which is becoming infamous due to uninterrupted pollution.
Rashmika's concern for a social cause is winning the appreciation of all. “It was an idea brought to me by my friend who spoke about general pollution and I wanted to cover water pollution in particular. It wasn’t a paid project, but it was a cause I was passionate about.
We sat and discussed the location and other details of the shoot and one day, we packed and left to Bellandur Lake at five am and shot till one pm. Post that, we went to a friend’s place to shoot underwater,” informs Rashmika.
