Super Star Rajinikanth’s 2.0 released last month amidst lots of expectations. Though the film received encouraging reports, it failed to recover the massive investments of producers and distributors. Except for Hindi, 2.0 is turning out to be a flop everywhere.
Seems like, Rajinikanth too is aware of the fact that, 2.0 box office business is coming to an end. So, he stopped promoting the Shankar directed film and shifted his focus to Petta. In the mass action entertainer directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Rajinikanth is playing dual roles.
To add to the festivities of Rajinikanth’s birthday, makers of Petta released teaser of the film and it was a double dhamaka for fans of Thalaiva. The super star killed it in the teaser with his swag and style.
Petta will be hitting the screens during Sankranthi in 2019. The makers have promoting the film vigorously by regularly releasing promotional content. In fact, all the promotional stuff only multiplied the excitement of Rajini fans. Let’s see whether the super star will stop the flop streak with Petta which will have simultaneous release in Telugu.
