Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's NTR Kathanayakudu makers embroiled unnecessary controversy which appeared to have done some damage to the team.
NTR's team released a new poster from Manadesham film still of Balakrishna. The poster reads, "1949 lo sarigga ee rojey 'Manadesham' vidudhalayyindhi. Vendithera meeda heroism modalai 69 yellayindi. (Exactly on the same day in 1949, Manadesham was released. It has been 69 years since the birth of heroism on silver screen).
However, Tollywood's second number one hero ANR's (first number one Chittooru Nagaiah) fans were deeply hurt with the above poster's caption. According to them, heroism in Tollywood was kickstarted with ANR but not with NTR.
ANR's fans said ANR had two industry hits into his credit such as Balaraju and Keelugurram even before the debut of NTR. "No one can touch ANR with his prolonged career as an actor," they proudly said.
"Manadesham might have been the first film of NTR. However, he just played a small role in the movie," ANR's fans revealed.
On the other hand, Tollywood's first number one hero Chittooru Nagaiah's fans claimed real heroism of Tollywood was started with neither ANR nor NTR. They said Nagaiah made Bhaktha Pothana and Thyagayya as industry hits single handed. "His craze then knew no bounds as a number one," said Nagaiah's fans who heard many great things about the first number one from their grandfathers.
