Vijay Devarakonda attained dizzy heights within a short span stealing the hearts of all with his performances in films like Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam. He is all set to entertain movie lovers with his upcoming entertainer Taxiwala on Nov 17.
All eyes are on Taxiwala as his previous film NOTA failed to show its power at the box office. During his interactions with scribes, Vijay Devarakonda surprised all saying ' Taxiwala is a Mini Baahubali and that was the reason for the delay in the film. While Baahubali had 2700 shots, Taxiwala is having 640 shots.
Sharing Taxiwala details, he said, “It is a sci-fi thriller. Engineering graduate who goes to city in pursuit of job decides to turn into a cab driver after he fails in his efforts. He chooses to be a cab driver as he hears that cabdrivers are earning good bucks. He acquires an old car but en route to his journey, he will face shocking experiences. I don’t like horror genre and when Rahul told me that the film is a horror genre, I walked out of the seat as I am scared of horror films. However Rahul stopped me and narrated me the entire script. I loved it at once and gave the green signal."
Vijay's tall claims comparing Taxiwala to Mini Baahubali is bringing back memories when Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas boasted that his film Saakshyam was a mini Baahubali. The film however left without a trace.
