Everyone knows that Super Star Mahesh Babu enjoys huge fan following and his fan following is even more in overseas where his films break all records. So when a fund raising event titled 'An Evening with Super Star' was announced in a grand manner promoting that Mahesh will interact with over 150 NRI families in New York, USA on Oct 27, ever one got super excited.
Many waited eagerly for the event but much to the surprise of all, the event was cancelled. Though the organizers cited security reasons behind the cancellation, inside talk is lack of response from the people was the main reason. This angered even Mahesh's wife Namrata so much so that she decided to take the responsibility to make the event a grand success by re-planning it. What surprised all is even after organizers slashed the ticket rates twice from $1500 to 1000 and then to 500, there were no takers.

However many say that the documentary was below average and instead of highlighting Mahesh's charisma; it tested the patience of the viewers. Organizers with that documentary as a promo couldn't sell even 20 tickets and the show was cancelled finally.
