King Nagarjuna and Natural Star Nani's laugh riot Devadas was sold out to Rs.38 crores to be the buyers. The movie, however, collected a share of Rs.24 crores by its second weekend's run. The film recorded considerable dip in collections after its first weekend's run.
Now that Young Tiger NTR's big ticket entertainer Aravinda Sametha is slated for release on October 11, Devadas may add up just Rs.3 crores to 4 crore more to take the total tally to Rs.28 crores. Altogether, Devadas may suffer Rs.10 crores loss through its theatrical business.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda's political thriller NOTA's pre release business was valued to Rs.25 crores through its Telugu and Tamil versions. The film which collected Rs.11+ crores by its first weekend's run, may end up around Rs.13 crores in its full run. Hence, it turned inexorable the film suffering around 50% losses.
If at all the makers of both the films continues promotions for more days they can minimise the loss percentages of the films. Aravinda Sametha's fate at the box office may also play a vital role in the statuses of Devadas and NOTA.
