When creative director Krish teamed up with Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut for a biopic on freedom fighter Jhansi Lakshmi Bai titled Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi, expectations soared. Kangana's ferocious look as Jhansi Lakshmi Bai increased the expectations and many waited for the film release, the sudden developments left all stunned.
With Krish concentrating on NTR biopic taken up prestigiously by Natasimha Balakrishna, Kangana donning the director's mantle led to shocking developments. Sonu Sood walked out of the project and now Swathi Semwal too walked out of it. Kangana indulging in reshoots is surprising everyone.
The makers already announced the film's release as Jan 25, 2019. The recent developments are lessening the buzz on the film and many are of the opinion that Manikarnika is now in a complete mess.
