Until some days ago, it was speculated that top actress Rakul Preet Singh would be playing a cameo role as legendary actress Sridevi in Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's NTR. Since the news was published in all the top media houses, it was thought Rakul signed the dotted lines too.
Rakul Preet Singh, however, has come up with a clarity on the gossips prevailed. She made it clear that she was approached by NTR's team. She, nonetheless, also made it clear that she hadn't signed for the role yet.
"I have been busy in Tamil films at the moment. Sridevi is my favourite heroine. As and when I visit Hyderabad, I listen to the film's script and they I'd sign for the project", says Rakul. Since ambiguity on her dates does exist she may skip for the role offered to her. Yet again, let's wait for more clarity from Rakul's side.
NTR is being directed by Krish on Balakrishna's own production. Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri are the co-producers. Vidya Balan essays female lead of the film. The movie is slated for Sankranthi release.
