Pawan Kalyan donated Rs.2 crores to Chennai flood victims last year. And he pledged to donate Rs.2 crores to Kerala flood victims which is an astronomical number of donations.
On the contrary, the ruling TDP donated just Rs.5 crores to Kerala flood victims. Since it faced huge criticism from all corners, the government added Rs.5 crores more to their donations. It's felt that TDP should learn from Pawan Kalyan showing charity on needy people. In the meanwhile, the TRS government pledged to donate Rs.25 crores for Kerala flood victims and was lauded for its generous act.
The YSRCP, shockingly, hasn't announced its donations yet. They are expected to announce their donations soon.
