Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are over the moon with the response they are getting for their romantic entertainer Geetha Govindam directed by Parasuram which hit the screens couple of days back.
Now it is coming out that Rashmika is not the first choice for the role of Geetha. Inside talk is Parasuram shot few scenes between Vijay Devarakonda and Andala Rakshasi fame Lavanya Tripathi. However, Allu Aravind and Parasuram who felt that their chemistry did not work have later contacted Raashi Khanna.
Raashi however demanded huge remuneration up to Rs 1crs though she loved the film. The filmmakers looked for an alternative and settled for sandalwood seductress Rashmika Mandanna. Raashi who left this film starred in Srinivasa Kalyanam. However, while Raashi got the shock, Rashmika is winning all the accolades.
