Top Bollywood filmmakers are competing with each other to introduce young rebel star Prabhas in a straight film following the monumental success of Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali across the world.
However, much to the surprise of all, Prabhas has been rejecting star filmmakers shocking everyone completely. While some say Prabhas is right in his judgement, others are saying that he is showing starry tantrums with his arrogance.
Sometime back Karan Johar claimed that Prabhas shocked him with his remuneration demands revealing that he demanded a whopping Rs 20crs. KJO claimed that Prabhas rejected him not once but twice.
Now it is coming out that Prabhas has now shocked ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali by rejecting his offer. Buzz is Sanjay Leela Bhansali planned to cast him in his dream project Padmavat.
Bhansali after finalizing Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for the roles of Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji planned to cast Prabhas in the role of Maha Rawal Ratan Singh.
Prabhas who was contacted during Baahubali 2 shooting, showed interest in the project. He even heard the narration but after hearing the script, felt that Maha Rawal Ratan Singh’s role was not that powerful as he expected. He gently rejected the role.
The role was later played by Shahid Kapoor. Padmavat faced huge criticism and protests but once the film was released, everything evaporated and the film won the appreciation of one and all.
