There is a talk that, wannabe actors pay money to producers or directors to get chance in their films. As per a latest buzz, hero Vishwak Sen gave Rs 80 lakhs to director Tharun Bhascker to cast him in his last movie Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi.
As we all know, Vishwak Sen made his acting debut with Vellipomakey that was released through Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner. The film got lukewarm response and Vishwak didn’t get any recognition. So, the young hero wanted to work with a renowed director who can show him in a better way.
Vishwak Sen then approached Tharun Bhascker, when the director was looking for newcomers for his second film ENE. Vishwak was indeed very keen to be part of the project since the director’s first film Pelli Choopulu was a runaway hit. He even offered Rs 80 lakhs to Tharun Bhascker for casting him for one of the lead roles.
Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi received mixed response post release. Bad promotions from the production unit, Tharun Bhascker’s loose talk on critics has spoiled the film's chances at box office.
On the flip side, Vishwak Sen who won appreciations for his ultra-stylish look and effortless performance in ENE hasn’t got any offers till date!
