Mega Star Chiranjeevi's son in law Kalyan Dev is making his entry in a grand manner on silver screen with his debut film Vijetha directed by Rakesh Shashi. Sai Korrapati has produced the film under Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram Banner.
In the meantime speaking to scribes on the eve of film release, Kalyan Dev surprised all saying he tried his luck in Bollywood. He said, "Since my childhood I fell in love with arts like dance, painting and dramas. I used to take part in cultural activities. Chiranjeevi attended our school's annual function when I was studying 8th standard. I even got a certificate from Mega Star which increased my interest in acting. After completing my engineering I tried to enter Bollywood but it didn’t materialize. Now I got a chance in Tollywood with Vijetha."
He said his father in law Chiranjeevi after listening to the story didn’t suggest a single change. “He only recommended Murali Sharma for the father's role. Even my brother in law Ram charan didn’t interfere. I myself used to consult him if I had any doubts. I am not after to show heroism doing fights and stunts. I will work for the role physically and story should be strong. I love realistic stories like Black and Bhaag Milka Bhaag. I love Chiranjeevi's Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari a lot."
