The BJP, which is ruling the centre, wants to go for early polls. Especially, the PM Narendra Modi appeared to have been super confident on the party's success in next general polls which might have prompted him to go for early polls this November instead of next summer.
Telangana CM KCR is also eager to move on for early polls and is making various challenges addressing to opposition political parties.
On the contrary, the ruling TDP appeared to have been frustrated with the speculations of early polls. The party's leaders such as CM Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh and Yanamala Ramakrishnudu proclaimed in various platforms that the TDP wouldn't prefer early polls and would go for polls as per the scheduled summer season, next year.
It is heard that the party's ministers and MLAs are being threatened with the possible defeat for them in next elections as an immense anti-incumbency surrounded on the party at the moment. As such, they don't wish to go for early polls. Instead, they would like to enjoy power in six or seven more months. Since the opinions of MLAs echoed with the party's top brass, the TDP takes a stand to go for poll battle in next summer. It remains to be seen whether election commission signals green for party's wish or not.
