INDUSTRY HIT: Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam stood as an all time industry hit of Tollywood breaking all the existing collection records of Tollywood among single language straight Telugu films. The film had a pre release theatrical business of Rs.80 crores and has minted Rs.127 crores share in its full run.
BLOCKBUSTER: Keerthy Suresh starrer Savitri's biopic Mahanati became a surprise blockbuster of Tollywood this year. The movie was made with a comfortable budget of Rs.25 crores and collected more than Rs.40 crores share in its full run.
SUPER HITS: Anushka's multi-lingual project Bhagamathi stood as one of the super hits of this year with Rs.35 crores world wide share. Mega Prince Varun Tej's Tholiprema and Naga Shourya's Chalo also earned considerable profits and got super hit statuses.
ABOVE AVERAGES: Prince Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu did a pre release business close to Rs.100 crores and collected Rs.92 crores share in its full run. Even then, as the film stood as the biggest grosser among Mahesh Babu's movies and and surpassed the milestone of Rs.90 crores, the movie is considered to be an above average venture at the box office. Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's Jai Simha, Sammohanam and Awe films also fall under above average category.
* Among last week's releases, Sanjeevani and Shambho Shankara got decent response while Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi makers are planning to success tours. The end results of these films are awaited.
